Note on data transfer to the US and other third countries

Futhermore, we use tools from companies based in the US or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred and processed in these third countries. We would like to point out that an adequate level of data protection comparable to that in the EU can not be guaranteed for these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as a data subject being able to take legal action against them. It can’t be ruled out that US authorities may (e.g. intelligence services) process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on such processing activities.

Data is only transferred to so-called third countries if required by law, based on your consent or as part of a commissioned processing. If service providers in third countries are commissioned, in addition to written instructions, they are committed to comply with an adequate level of data protection comparable to Europe by agreeing to the EU standard contractual clauses.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing activities are subject to your explicit consent. You can revoke your given consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected.

Right of objection to data collection in special cases and to Direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF A DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6 PARA. 1 LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH THE PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH MAY OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ASSERTING, EXERCISING OR DEFENDING LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21 PARA. 1 GDPR). IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING ACTIVITIES; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING ACTIVITIES. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION RIGHT PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 2 GDPR).

Right of complaint to the responsible supervisory authority

In the event of violations against the GDPR, data subjects shall have the right of complaint to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right of complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data, that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract, handed over to you or to a third party in a common and machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

Information, deletion and correction

Within the frame of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right of information about your stored personal data free of charge at any time, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions about personal data, you can contact us at any time.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. For this purpose, you can contact us at any time. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If the processing of your personal data is processed unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of a deletion.

If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exert, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of an erasure.

If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, a consideration of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may - apart from being stored - only be processed with your consent or for the exertion, enforcement or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. Objection to advertising e-mails

We hereby object to the use of contact data, published within the frame the imprint duty, to send advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of those pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

On this website we provide you with services that you can use voluntarily. Without providing your personal data, you may not be able to use our services.

"Profiling" and automated decision making

We do not use fully automated decision making according to Art. 22 GDPR. Compact Dynamics Ltd. does not use "profiling" as a matter of principle. Should we use this in individual cases, we will inform you separately about this, if this is required by law, and obtain your prior consent if necessary.

Sources of your personal data

We use data that we receive from you through personal contact, registration / login forms or social media channels.

5. plugins and tools

YouTube

This website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode has the effect that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they view the video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. Thus, YouTube - regardless of whether you watch a video - establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube can save various cookies on your end device after starting a video or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud attempts.

If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no control.

YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers.

This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Insofar as a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

For more information about data protection at YouTube, please see their privacy policy at: policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Web Fonts (local hosting)

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. The Google Fonts are installed locally. A connection to Google servers does not take place.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at

Handling of applicant data

We offer you the opportunity to apply for a job with us (e.g., by e-mail, by post or via an online application form). In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing and use of your data will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law, all other statutory provisions and that your data will be treated in strict confidence.

Scope and purpose of data collection

When you send us an application, we process your associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Article 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (general contract initiation) and - if you have given your consent - Article 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons involved in processing your application.

If the application is successful, the data you submitted will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 of the (BDSG) and Article 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship.

Retention period of the data

If we are unable to make you a job offer, if you reject a job offer or if you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have provided for us on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). Subsequently, the data will be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. This storage serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g., due to an impending or pending legal dispute), the data will not be deleted until the purpose for continued storage no longer applies.

Longer storage may also take place if you have given your corresponding consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or if legal storage obligations prevent deletion.

Inclusion in the applicant pool

If we do not make you a job offer, it may be possible to include you in our applicant pool. If you are accepted, all documents and information from your application will be transferred to the applicant pool so that we can contact you in the event of suitable vacancies.

Inclusion in the applicant pool takes place exclusively on the basis of your expressed consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). The provision of consent is voluntary and is not related to the current application process. The data subject may revoke his/her consent at any time. In this case, the data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted, unless there are legal reasons for retention.

The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after a consent has been given.

Processing of statistical data within social media networks

We also receive statistical evaluations from all social media providers about the use of our social media presences. Beyond the information you have provided, however, these contain only in anonymized form, such as (depending on the provider) demographic data, an anonymized analysis of the interaction and reach of our social media presences and posts, anonymized information such as languages, interests, end devices used by our users.

The processing of the data is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest of Compact Dynamics Ltd. in providing users with targeted information about us and our services, as well as the optimal design of our social media presences and effective communication with users. Processing of data for advertising purposes and creation of usage profiles by the providers of the social media networks.

The data you have provided may also be processed for market research and advertising purposes. This happens, for example, when we place advertisements on the respective social media. However, the processing of the data in this case is carried out by the respective providers. Please also note that they can create usage profiles from your usage behavior. These usage profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that correspond to your tapped interest profile. Please obtain information on this from the providers of the social media.

The social media providers do not act according to instructions but process your data on their own responsibility. You can find information about the providers and their contact details on their websites. There you will also find information about the processing of your personal data. We would like to point out that your data may be processed by the social media providers outside the European Union. This may result in risks for you because, for example, it could make it more difficult to enforce your rights. Please inform yourself in this regard with the providers of the social media.
